Here are the basics for creating a post.

Posts within our community are like the vibrant threads woven into a tapestry of interactions. They serve as versatile tools for sharing resources, making announcements, fostering discussions, narrating stories, and exploring a wide array of topics.

To get started with post creation, head to the post space from the sidebar and click New post.

Let’s take a look at how you can create amazing content using a post editor.

💡 Tip: If you want to create a post using a Circle mobile app, tap ➕ icon on the control bar. In the post editor, you can add a post title, select a post location, format text using basic formatting options, and add images, videos, or files from the device. Please note that you can only manage post settings or make edits through a browser.

Step 1: Get to know the post editor

The post editor has everything you need to craft content. Let’s familiarize yourself with its features to make the most of your creative process.

In the post editor header, you'll find several useful options:

• Add a cover image.
• Access post settings to configure various aspects like permissions, URL slug, custom HTML, and more.
• Expand the editor in full screen for an immersive writing experience.
• Close the editor to cancel post creation.

In the footer of the post editor, you'll find additional options to fine-tune your post:

• Assign topics to this post.
• Select or change the location for this post.
• Access options to attach media, files, emojis, links, and commands to format your content effectively.
• Choose the option for post-delivery. You can opt to save it as a draft for later, publish it immediately, or schedule it to be posted at a specific time.
